Slatemenu vs QRSeva

Slatemenu and QRSeva both turn a photo of your paper menu into a QR code menu you edit from your phone. Both are prepaid through Razorpay, neither renews on its own unless you ask it to, and both give you 14 days free without a card.

We make Slatemenu. Everything about QRSeva below comes from qrseva.com and its pricing page, checked on 7 October 2026. Where its site doesn’t mention something, we’ve written "not listed". That doesn’t mean it can’t do it, so ask them if it matters to you.

Price

QRSeva costs ₹100 a month less, and its yearly plan works out to about ₹149 a month against Slatemenu’s ₹208. Over a year that’s ₹1,788 against ₹2,499.

Where QRSeva does more

QRSeva shows photos of your dishes, translates into 23 languages against Slatemenu’s nine, and puts your address, phone number and a map on the menu. Its home page also shows diners ordering from their seat and paying at the counter when the food is ready. Ask QRSeva how that works with your kitchen before you count on it.

Where Slatemenu does more

Slatemenu puts the Indian food mark on every dish, veg, non-veg or egg, and lets diners filter the menu for veg, veg and egg, Jain, vegan, gluten-free, no nuts or not spicy. That matters in cities with many Jain and vegetarian diners, where the same question comes up at every table.

For your tables and walls, Slatemenu gives you five print-ready designs with your restaurant’s name on them: an A5 table tent that reads from both sides, an A4 counter poster, a sticker, a door sign for the street, and your whole menu as an A4 PDF for diners who want paper.

The table tent Slatemenu makes for you. Print it at any print shop.

Day to day, you can put a dish at the top as today’s special until midnight, show a breakfast or lunch section only at set hours, and switch off a sold-out dish with one tap. A "Review us on Google" button at the end of the menu asks happy diners for a review, and Insights counts the taps.

Which one to pick

Choose QRSeva if you want dish photos, a language Slatemenu doesn’t have, your address and map on the menu, or ordering from the table, and if the lower price matters.

Choose Slatemenu if veg marks and diet filters matter to your diners, if you want table tents, posters and a door sign ready for the print shop, or if your menu changes through the day with specials and timed sections.

Both are free for 14 days. Put the same menu into each and compare them on your own phone before you print anything.

Questions

Are both prepaid?

Yes. Both take payment through Razorpay for the period you choose. Slatemenu never renews by itself; QRSeva renews only if you switch renewal on in its dashboard.

Which one has more languages?

QRSeva lists 23. Slatemenu has Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, up to three at a time, plus English.

Can I switch later without reprinting?

No. Each tool’s QR code opens its own link, so switching means new table cards. Use the free trials properly before you print.
