Terms of service
Last updated 5 Oct 2026
These terms apply when you use Slatemenu, a service run by Slatemenu that turns restaurant menus into digital menus with QR codes. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email address secure; anyone who can read it can sign in to your account.
Your menu
You own your menu, logo and content. You give us permission to store and display them so diners can read your menu. You are responsible for the accuracy of dishes, prices, veg/non-veg marks and allergen information. Menus read automatically from photos may contain mistakes, so check them before publishing.
Free trial and payment
New accounts get a 14-day free trial without a card. After that the service costs ₹799 a month or ₹7,999 a year, paid in advance through Razorpay. Plans do not renew automatically. If you do not pay, your public menu goes offline a few days after your paid time ends; your data is kept so you can renew later.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Slatemenu for anything illegal, misleading or harmful, or to publish content you don’t have the right to use. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability
We work to keep menus online at all times but can’t promise uninterrupted service. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before a claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll email you about significant changes before they take effect.
